HB477

I sent this message via email to my representatives in the Utah House and Senate as well as the leadership and the bill's author. Could I encourage you to do the same? We don't want our rights- which were granted more than 200 years ago- taken away for a misguided reason. [I didn't include the color or increased size in my email :-)]

I am writing as a constituent/citizen of Utah who is against HB477. This bill is a poor choice of ways to try to accomplish what is purported to be accomplished with this bill. Government has the responsibility to stay transparent in their dealings. This was so important to our Founding Fathers that they included it in the Bill of Rights-the very first Amendment! Don't vote for this bill. It is unconstitutional and will not benefit Utah nor its citizens.

Respectfully,

Jennifer Summers
